here i am finally.

sorrie for the late post.
currently west spring basketball is now having the National Inter-School Basketball Competition.

previously they played against Dunearn Sec & Hwa Chong Instituation.
however, unfortunately it wasnt on their side though they tried their VERY BEST..
DSS vs WSSS - (currently unknown)
HCI vs WSSS - (51:35)

& so, i have only attend the match HCI vs WSSS..i have done a video clip.do take a look! :)

..they still have another match coming.that will be..

hi guys!!..

well today is the 31st of october.
the guys today have a friendly match vs bukit merah sec.
overall i think the guys did great.maybe not their best of course.
some had injuries on them and stuff like that.
it was pretty enthusiastic.& pretty funny as well with jokers frm the team.

the game was supposed to start at 2pm, however because of the heavy downpour it started at 4pm.
before starting, the team have to dry the court with newspapers.& they were doing all that as a team.
ohh yeah!!

start of the game.
wasn't that good.the gap was 5, created by BMSS.7:2...
however after the time out, it was all west spring game.
well,the guys really work as a team.and some really shows quite an improvement.
starting to open up.
first quarter ended at 16:14 ,west spring a lead by 2.
JK help created quite a lead with the assist of all his other team mates.

after the end of the first quarter everyone was getting the hang of it.
as the team now is a B division team, the inclusion of Jenson, Bryan & the funny" Cheng Peng.

the opponent were something .
they had quite a number of tall guys, but it doesnt fear the team.
some were pretty fast .
there were alot of falls and tumble during the match.Haha.

Roy, with his speed & quick patterns during his scores.
Zw, the fast and the furious.
Melson, the great assist and quick moves.amazing finger roll. speedo.
Daniel, the 3 point play dude.POL.
Sly, cool center assist.
Denneth, the guard with tremendous heights to move.
Jk, the power guard with superb defences.
ChengPeng, the flying without wings , 'Thank You'.
Jenson, quick thinking + amazing strengths(like de).hehe :)
Jon Ng, the instruction loud person. (due to injuries, not in full form).
Bryan, where was he?.

no offence guys. it's just my opinion.

west spring won this friendly with the gap of 23 points.

it has been a long time since our competition ..
the c division boys had lost this year's tournament..
but never give up there is still hope for next year's B division

long time since we had a friendly match against ju ying and Dunearn secondary.
we lost both matches ..
we played badly today ..
due to not training for a long time. ..
but today's losing experience had gain us a lesson to learn .
its just the start of our training .. we haven't give up hope yet ..
after our end of year examinations, we gonna train hard and play hard
our last competition for the upper sec ..our last hope.
today's lost doesn't affect our thinking of playing bball ..
we still will try hard..
we have much to improve ..
wish us all the best .

till then to our next friendly match which is during december..
hope that time we can learn to play a much adult basketball
all the best to your end of year exam team mates..

ohh..so sorry ppl..it's been very long since i[sportygurl] last update this westspring bball team blog..now is 2006, a brand new yr ..this year is the C BOYS DIVISION..the inclusion of joon kiat and the rest of the sec 2 plus the new members of the basketball family, the sec 1s....the b division boys will be working hard again next year..So to the C Division Boys, JIA YOU!! =)

Their dreams ended when they lose to Bukit Panjang Govt High 35-47.....Though they lose, they will forever be a team.They will move on and train harder.Thus, they did a good job in the first two matchs and they played well.Good Job guys.Thanks to those who supported them and the most important people, Ah Boon and Liwei for training the team.To those who support them, please keep on supporting team..Sportygurl[No1 supporter]...I will always support u guys..Jia You!!

Today the training was quite tough.. boon formal coach came and help and train us..
He told us abt plastic bag story..
He let us refresh our minds..on tues, must treat it as a friendly match and win..
cannot be too tension..orelse we will get something bad..
today teach us.. crab defence..new way of fast break..
i dun really get very use to the new fast break..abit slow la.. but sometimes good lor..

Today was unbelievably the worse day in the boys life.Starting of the match was alrite and throughout the game was quite unstable.It was a tough match between the two schools.They lost by just 2 points.(33-35)They felt dissapointed and heartbreaks as couldnot believe what just happen.Thus, i knoe they wouldn't just defeat without a fight,They will stand up again and give their best..better than b4.They still left with one more match that will then decide whether are they going to the next round or not.I have nothing much to say as it was a very sad moment in the end BUT THEY ARE GOING TO WIN AND GO THROUGH TO THE SEMI-FINALS. NEVER GIVE UP GUYS!..GIVE ALL YOU GOT ON TUESDAY!!! :)

Zhe Wei here now posting.. just wanna say abt today's match.Although we won but we did not play well. We could have done better.All the passings, shooting all very lousy today..
Just hope we will get use to the atmosphere and not be tension during the tournament..
coz we are aiming for top 4 in west zone..
West spring secondary, where true players stands out in the court, playing for their hopes and dreams..
Today dunno why la. me shooting not very stable.. maybe nervous la.. i lay up put wrong method of hand.
Hope to improve la.. like the previous match i was.. i also fell down today.. quite a few times..
Mostly on knee cap... now bend pain..today go see doctor, hope can cure it fast b4 friday's match..
i will becareful next time..Friday against boon lay sec. abit scared coz they draw with bukit panjang government for 3 quarters but lost in the last quarter.. so we will try our best and thrive for finals.. so0oo long teamates

West Spring VS Bukit Batok (Won!)

Today, the 5th of July 2005...the second match for west spring secondary school in the West Zone Basketball Competition.The boys were against Bukit Batok Secondary School today.The match was from 3pm to 4pm..They did well again by beating Bukit Batok Secondary.The score is 36-19..The top scorer was Pei Ming Hui.But without the effort from the rest of the teammates, they couldn't have made it.Great Play Guys..But BE CAREFUL k..dun injured yourself or else how to play the other matches rite?..That's all from me.The next match will be against Boon Lay Secondary, this friday.All The Best! Cyaw! :P

West Spring Secondary School won 47-32 against Regent Secondary School.Today was their first official competition match.They did well but definately can do better.Those who were there to support the team feel the heat while watching..Starting was amazing started by Pei Ming Hui with the assist of Roy.The basketballers feel the heat when Regent strike back.1st quarter end with 8 for West Spring and 9 for Regent, the opposition leading by one.But with confidence, West Spring strikes back during the 2nd and 3rd quarter with 17 points adding to West Spring and 6 points to Regent.And great play and lay up by both Roy and Zw.Zw also show his true speed during the match but unfortunately fall flat on the court 3 times when the Regent player/s push him down.But with great positivity, he get up and continue playing.But shouldn't forget too, well play of the other teammates and their assist.They are Slyvester, Jk, Denneth, Yuan Liang, Jonathan, Melson and Alvin.Too bad Linden was sick so he did not play.They fight back till the very end.With the last ball scoring by Jonathan.That's all from me today.The next match is on tuesday, against Bukit Batok Secondary School.
